A number of rumors have surfaced regarding Apple doing away with the headphone jack on the iPhone 7. Now, we have a peek at what that may truly appear as if.
A photo of an iPhone 7 Lightning-to-headphone adapter allegedly taken from a Foxconn Company in Vietnam have surfaced online, supporting the rumors and the forming of a theory claiming that the adapter are going to be enclosed with this fall’s flagship device update.
The adapter has shown within the image options a Lightning end that is not significantly larger than an existing cable. The earphone jack enclosure is almost the same size because the female end of the connector itself.
The report claims that upon insertion of the adapter into the iPhone, the audio is automatically routed far from the existing earphone jack and to the Lightning plug. But it is still unclear if the claims are true. There is no demonstration of audio being via through headphones connected to the Lightning-to-headphone adapter at no point.
