New iPhone 7 leak offers our best look at Apple’s next smartphone
- There is additionally a protective ring around the lens.
- Camera lens is bigger and closer to the sides
- Leaked rear panel picture shows shifted antenna bands
The iPhone 7 is expected to be launched by Apple at an event in September, and will keep running on the company’s new iOS 10 versions.
The image demonstrates us the back of the iPhone in all its glory, and it reiterates what we’ve heard before. The antenna bands have moved to the edges, while the camera lens has moved close to the sides. The lens has another protective ring around it and seems to be larger than its predecessors. The leaked image also confirms the return of the Rose Gold colour variant with the iPhone 7
The expansive variation is required to sport a Smart Connector, and a double camera setup at the back. It is expected to be powered by new A10 SoC, and expansive variation is tipped to get a knock to 3GB RAM to control the dual cameras.
Apple is expected to lose the 16GB base storage variant in favour of 32GB. Another 256GB storage option is also expected that would be presented.
